Stuffed Figs with Paprika Cream Cheese and Caramelized Walnuts
There comes a time in your life when a bag of chips just doesn't cut it as a proper canapé. Hey, don't get us wrong! Few things can satisfy that crunchy sensation. But, if you ever want to bring out the chef in you and surprise your party members with a savory aperitive, then stay put, this recipe for stuffed figs will do the trick.

What You'll Need
⅔ cup cream cheese natural
1 tbsp brown cane sugar
1 handful of walnuts
1 handful of basil
2 pinches of JS Paprika Cream Cheese Seasoning
How to Do It
- Start with chopping the walnuts coarsely and frying them in pan. Sprinkle cane sugar to caramelise and after a couple of minutes, remove the pan from the heat to let the walnuts cool down.
- Thoroughly blend the cream cheese with JS Paprika Cream Cheese Seasoning.
- Wash, dry and cut the figs in half. Smear a light layer of the prepared cream cheese and sprinkle a little more of the JS Paprika Cream Cheese Seasoning over the figs.
- Finally, garnish with the crunchy caramelized walnuts and fresh green basil leaves.
A delicious starter and a refined combination of fresh fruits and salty cheese.
