Directions
For the buns, cook the milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat just until warm (105°F to 115°F). Sprinkle the yeast over the milk and stir until dissolved. Stir in the sugar and salt.
Pour milk mixture over flour in a medium bowl. Add the whole eggs and butter; mix well.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface, then knead the dough for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl; turn the dough over. Cover the dough with plastic wrap, then let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Knead the dough for a few more minutes, then divide the dough into 4 equal balls. Place on a parchment-covered baking sheet.
Whisk the egg yolk until blended; brush evenly onto the dough balls. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Let the dough rise in a warm place for an additional 30 minutes, preheating the oven to 400°F after 20 minutes.
Bake the buns for 10 to 12 minutes or until done.
For the burgers, mix the meat with the oil and Burger Allrounder just until blended. Shape the meat mixture into 4 patties.
Cook the meat patties in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until done (160°F). Top the burgers with the cheese, then cook the burgers an additional minute or until the cheese is melted. Remove the skillet from the heat.
Cut the buns in half. Spread the cut sides of the buns with the burger sauce.
Cover the bottom halves of the buns with the lettuce, red onions and tomatoes. Top with the cheeseburgers, gherkins, bacon and tops of buns.
