Bolognese

With our Bolognese spice, you no longer need to worry about the right spices for an Italian classic. The spice mix contains everything a delicious red sauce needs to make you dream of an Italian holiday while it simmers. Ingredients such as paprika, tomato, onions, garlic, oregano provide authentic taste in no time. We're sure that once you've tried the spice mix for Bolognese, you won't be able to have your spaghetti bolo, or any savory Italian sauce, without it!

As the name suggests, our Bolognese spice is perfectly suited to conjure up a tasty Bolognese for you. Of course, the mixture also goes well with a veggie bolognese or with a vegetable meat alternative, such as lentils. You can use the versatile spice mix in various Italian delicacies like antipasti, gazpacho or pasta pomodore.

We recommend using approx. ½ - 1 tsp of the Bolognese seasoning per 0,2 lbs of ground meat. To develop the full aroma, fry the mixture briefly with the ground meat and/or onions. Of course, you can also season your Bolognese with the spice mix at the end. Sounds quick and easy, doesn't it?

Yes, the Bolognese spice is also suitable for children and makes ground meat sauces a favorite dish for the whole family. Don't worry: the spice mix does contain some chili, but it's to ensure a balance in combination with other spices - and not create spiciness. Gradually work your way up to the right taste.

Because our spice mixtures are impermeable to light and air, they stay fresh for a long time and retain their intense flavor. It is therefore important that you store the tins in a cool and dry place. The Bolognese seasoning has a shelf life of 30 months from production. No promises it will take you that long to use it.
