DESCRIPTION

Garam Masala is THE basic seasoning for Indian cuisine. The aromatic mix gives many dishes their basic flavor: Cinnamon, anise and cloves provide sweetness whereas ginger and tellicherry pepper spice things up! Caraway, coriander, cumin, fenugreek seeds, and garlic are also some additional spicy characters. Garam Masala has a delicately spicy oriental flavour. Traditionally this seasoning is being used for meat dishes but also gives fish, paneer cheese or rice a great twist. You can toast the seasoning before in a pan or use it later to season your dishes.
